Xiao Yu I received my PhD in Applied Mathematics from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, advised by Dr. Xiaoqiang Zhao, in 2016. I was also awarded the Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies there. Prior to pursuit of my PhD, I received my B.S. in Pure and Applied Mathematics from East China Normal University, Shanghai, China and my M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, advised by Dr. Dongmei Xiao. My research interests are differential equations, dynamical systems and their applications to problems arising from ecology and epidemiology. I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow here under the supervision of Dr. Stephen Cantrell and Dr. Chris Cosner. |
