Computer Programming


Textbook:
Java by Dissection, The essentials of Java programming, Second Edition, by I. Pohl and C. McDowell. You can view the first three chapters of this book here. You can buy an electronic copy of the entire text for $5 at Lulu. The Web page for the book is here.

Lectures -- Time and Place:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3.30 - 4.45; MM 300

Laboratories:
In addition to the lectures, you must register for a two-hour a week lab session of your choosing. Here is more info about the CSC 120 Computing Laboratory, located at Ungar 426. No Lab the first week.
